Follow one ride, kilometre by kilometre
This is the real route, drawn from our own GPS track — 713 km, 1,864 curves on Route 108 alone, over the roof of Thailand and home through Pai. Scroll, and ride it with us.
Roll southwest on Route 108 toward Doi Inthanon National Park. Visit the King and Queen Pagodas and Wachirathan Waterfall, with cool summit air at 2,565 m. Overnight near the park.
The long day. Northwest on Route 108 through Mae Sariang — the road of the 1,864 curves — to Mae Hong Son and the Shan-style temples of Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, then 44 km more up to Ban Rak Thai, a Yunnanese-Chinese village by the Myanmar border. Overnight in Ban Rak Thai.
Morning by the lake at Ban Rak Thai, then east on Route 1095 toward Pai, through the limestone country around Soppong, with a stop at the WWII Memorial Bridge on the way in. Afternoon and evening free for Pai's walking street, the canyon, and the hot springs. Overnight in Pai.
Descend southeast along the Pai Highway through forested viewpoints and rolling vistas back to Chiang Mai. Tour ends at our base by late afternoon.

Fixed dates open to anyone who wants to join — come on your own or bring friends. Every tour also runs on your own dates, any week you like.
Our flagship ride
The NBT Super Loop is an eleven-day guided motorcycle tour from Chiang Mai — 1,381 km joining Mae Hong Son and Nan, with a rest day in the middle, from $2,750 per rider, all-inclusive. No security deposit. No passport held.

Riding with us
Remote roads are the point. Being alone on them isn't. Here is what is behind you on every ride.
A guide leads the way and nobody gets pushed — you ride your own ride. Helmet, gloves and an armoured jacket are included, and our guides brief the group in front of the shop before we roll out.
Every bike comes out of our own workshop, with our own mechanics and our own service vehicle behind it — not a contractor we called. On the long tours a mechanic rides with the group.

The right bike up here isn't the biggest one — we match it to the road and to you, and there's no upgrade fee on any bike in the tour fleet, from a Click 125 to the Royal Enfield Bear 650. Subject to availability, we offer a choice of bikes — ask at the time of booking.
